Galloping across the spacious fields, bleeding red with poppy petals
Prancing amid preening peacocks and the forest creatures
Is the beast of eternal mystery, of unfathomable enigma
Rarest in the world, this creature of dreams, legends and myth
Unmatched in beauty, the air pulsates with his magnificence
Whiter than the full moon's face, than the winter's first snow
With sad, placid eyes glittering like little blue stars
Whisps of gold furl about his graceful neck, billowing in an evening breeze
And his long tail cascades down like a glistening waterfall
Upon his forehead a spiraling horn reaches for the dying sun
